Virtual Connections is a free program that offers daily Zoom calls for people with aphasia and care partners. Sessions focus on conversation, social connection, and quality of life.

Virtual Connections is a collaborative program between Lingraphica and Aphasia Recovery Connection. Founded in 2020 in response to COVID-19, Virtual Connections provides virtual support group sessions for over 4,000 members worldwide. We offer sessions everyday via Zoom. Our sessions are hosted by over 80 volunteer facilitators, mostly speech pathologists, music therapists, and other rehabilitation experts. Virtual Connections does not provide speech therapy, but rather offers conversation and support groups. Our sessions are a great place to practice your speech, make friends, and help to end the isolation of living with aphasia.

Virtual Connections has sessions on music, poetry, food, pets, writing, reading, math, travel, games, and more! We offer sessions for survivors of stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA). We also offer sessions for young survivors under 40 years old! Most sessions are designed for people with aphasia, however we also offer regular sessions for care partners and couples!

You can view all upcoming sessions and register through our website: https://virtualconnections.aphasia.com/
