The University of Alaska Anchorage/East Carolina University Speech-Language Pathology Program and the Anchorage School District are sponsoring the annual Summer Speech-Language Therapy Clinic.  This year we are offering both in-person and telepractice sessions. You may choose which service delivery model works best for you.

Therapy will be provided by student clinicians, at no cost to you.  These students are working on their Master’s degree in speech-language pathology.  This clinic is part of their professional training.  Supervision is provided by Alaska state licensed and nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologists.

This is a 6-week clinic running from June 6 through July 15. The clinic will be conducted in person at an Anchorage School District building or via telepractice using the ZOOM platform. For telepractice sessions, clients must provide a computer and internet access with a microphone and speakers. 7The student clinician will review the telepractice therapy sessions schedule and structure prior to the initial session. Regular attendance is expected to promote maximum progress. If you have any questions please email the Program Director, Dr. Karen Gallagher at klgallagher4@alaska.edu or call 907-786-4712

We are accepting applications now. We will be scheduling clients based on our graduate student clinicians’ training needs. If you are interested in participating in the summer therapy clinic, please complete the application by clicking here https://forms.gle/JXxUT3QNSJLJKw4n9
