Free Aphasia Therapy – Individual and Group Sessions!

The Center for Communication Disorders at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (CDD) offers an exceptional depth of care and expertise for clients with acquired disorders of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing. Our faculty hail from some of the top institutions in the country and form a team of experts dedicated to outstanding clinical practice. As medical speech-language pathologists, we partner with physicians and other medical professionals to best serve the needs of our clients.

We value our clients as individuals, meaning we see past a diagnosis and consider the overall well-being of each person. Our clinic offers services for clients who have suffered stroke, traumatic brain injury, neurological disease, head and neck cancer, and various other etiologies resulting in impaired communication, cognition, and swallowing. Among other forms of assessment, we offer instrumental evaluation for voice and swallowing using videostroboscopy and fiberoptic endoscopic swallow evaluation (FEES). We have high standards for ourselves as medical providers, educators, and community members.

The Center for Communication Disorders is also unique, in that our services are completely free. This allows us to provide services to clients who have medical necessity, regardless of their ability to pay. We also pride ourselves on providing thorough, client-focused care to meet the highest expectations of our clients, their families, and their physicians.
