MnCAN is a non-profit dedicated to helping people with aphasia improve their quality of life and live fully and independently within their communities. We provide conversation practice groups, support groups, a theater group, and other specialty programs for people with aphasia and Primary Progressive Aphasia.

MnCAN is based on the life participation approach to aphasia and emphasizes teaching and use of supported conversation strategies. We are located in the Minneapolis/ St Paul area and outstate locations.

Meeting day and times vary per site and program; weekly meetings are held during 12 week Fall, 12 week Winter/Spring and 8 week Summer sessions.  Meetings are 90 minutes long.  MnCAN bills tuition; financial support is available.
