Conversation Group for individuals with Aphasia in the Kansas City Metro
This group is funded by KU Endowment funds and there is no fee or charge to participants.
Members have aphasia after stroke, brain tumor, or other neurological injury.
This group is facilitated by graduate students in the KU MA-SLP program who are supervised by clinical faculty who maintain the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and who are licensed through the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services and the Missouri Board of Healing Arts.
