Individualized speech therapy support provided virtually throughout Ohio.
Dufau Speech Therapy provides consultative speech therapy for adults and children who have experienced brain injuries. These include traumatic brain injuries, strokes, seizures, brain tumors, etc. Treatment is also provided for Primary Progressive Aphasia. Therapy can target language, speech, attention, memory, and problem solving skills.
Therapy will be provided by Jen Dufau M.A. CCC-SLP, CBIS, an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Brain Injury Specialist with extensive experience treating Aphasia, Acquired Apraxia of Speech, Dysarthria, and Cognitive Communication Disorders. Sessions typically focus on creating home programs, strategy training, education, and long-term support for cognitive and communication skills. Sessions are scheduled as needed and can be as frequent as weekly or every 6 months depending on your needs.
