Who We Are

Different Strokes is a gathering of stoke survivors and loved ones. It is guided by Rachel Fiore, who is a speech pathologist at University Medical Center. We meet twice a month to share stories, eat snacks, and learn. Each meeting is led by a speech-language pathologist or other healthcare professional. Topics and activities include medication management, nutrition, chair yoga, show and tell, and speech technology.

Where We Meet

We meet at University Medical Center: 2000 Canal St. in New Orleans, LA., in clinic 1C, just past the Walgreens on the first floor.

When We Meet

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
