Barbara M. Squillace is an English-Spanish bilingual speech-language pathologist certified and licensed to practice in New Jersey, Florida, and New York. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) of which she is also an active member. Barbara has received ACE Awards for continuing education from ASHA based on her participation and completion of continuing education courses and conferences. Barbara is also certified Modified Barium Swallow Impairment (MBSImp), LSVT LOUD, SPEAK! Out,  and VitalStim © therapy. Barbara graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Special/Elementary Education with a second major in Spanish and a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology.

Her professional experiences include years of working with adults and geriatrics across the continuum of care in hospital, acute rehab hospital, sub-acute rehab, homecare, and outpatient settings. She also worked in a private practice setting with children with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders. In 2017, Barbara founded Thinking to Talk, LLC a private practice that provides at-home and telepractice outpatient speech-language therapy. Barbara’s passion lies in working with adults and geriatrics that have speech, language, swallowing, voice, and cognitive impairments as a result of strokes and other neurogenic disorders (i.e. Parkinson’s disease, dementia, epilepsy, etc.)
