We invite all with aphasia and their family and friends to attend a monthly aphasia support group in the Auburn-Opelika, AL area.  Our meetings involve discussing aphasia and related difficulties with talking that people often have after they’ve had a stroke or brain injury.  Come meet others who have aphasia, learn more about it, find tips for how to improve your talking and listening skills, learn about recent advancements in the field, and find out about ongoing research studies. We welcome individuals from Auburn, Opelika, Montgomery, Columbus, Birmingham, and surrounding counties.  Interested allied health professionals are also invited.

We meet the second Tuesday of every month from 6-7:15pm at the EAMC Education Center, courtesy of East Alabama Medical Center.
