Aphasia Associates is a grassroots support group attended by families whose lives were permanently changed after a sudden stroke or head injury. Aphasia is a language disorder that limits speech. The objective of this group is to enhance communication for the person with Aphasia, and for their family to understand ways to support the struggle to rebuild pathways and neurons in the brain that will permit fluent speech. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the:

We are on Zoom with Professional Speech Therapists from Kaiser Permanente and North Bay Hospital who deliver successful practices and techniques to improve speech every month.
We are a National Aphasia Association Affiliate.
