Adler Aphasia Center’s satellite location in Essex County, NJ at JCC MetroWest in West Orange, provides a long-term therapeutic environment of innovative programs and services for people with aphasia and their families. Programs are facilitated by licensed speech-language pathologists and trained professionals in a nurturing group environment. Through life skill activities that focus on conversation and communication, the arts, fitness, technology and more, our program helps people with aphasia:

  • Improve their communication skills;
  • Exercise their cognitive skills;
  • Build their self-esteem and confidence;
  •  Make new social connections;
  • Enhance their quality of life.

This program meets twice a week from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. A tour and pre-registration is required. The Center charges a nominal fee per day for services and programs. Scholarships are available.  Please call Sharon  Glaser, Program Director at West Orange, at 973.530.3981.
