The Communication Support Group at Missouri State University is a group speech-language therapy opportunity for individuals who have survived a traumatic brain injury or stroke. This group provides continuing support for those returning to everyday activities after major life changes. Members help one another face and overcome common challenges by sharing experiences and encouraging one another. Communication skills are facilitated by and practiced via naturalistic interactions with group members and graduate student clinicians. Supervision is provided by a state licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologist.

Caregiver group support meetings for those spouses, friends, parents, siblings, and children of group members are also offered.
